All catering equipment must be brought in, there is access to main power for caterers as well as the kitchen in the house at The Ridge Estate.
Yes, if you choose not to utilise our reception space you are more than welcome to organise a marquee to be set up for your wedding or event.
We don’t have any on site bathrooms for weddings or events, although we usually do include the hire of luxury portable bathrooms in your hire price.
Yes we are! You are more than welcome to organise your own drinks for your wedding or event, although all alcoholic beverages must be served by RSA licensed servers. We can recommend some great portable bar companies, and a lot of catering companies also offer this service too.
The reception space can comfortably seat 120 guests or stand 160 guests with room for a dance floor. If you are wanting to have more guests than these numbers please get in touch and we can talk about your options.
No, we do not provide catering. Although we can recommend you some wonderful caterers to get in touch with to cater your event.
Yes, keeping our neighbours in mind we do ask that all events conclude at 11pm and guests depart the venue by 11.30pm.
Guests not staying at The Ridge Estate accommodation will depart at 11:30pm.
Parking & Transport
Yes, we have a carpark which comfortably holds around 50 cars, as well as grass area for any extra cars that may not fit in the car park.
As a general rule we don’t like to encourage guests to rely on these transport options. Another great option is to organise a charter bus for guests, there are companies that offer busses from small groups to full size coaches, please chat to us about this and we can point you in the right direction of the best companies to talk to.
Yes, we have a 5 bedroom homestead with two nights accommodation included in the hire of the venue for weddings and events.
