Can we have a marquee?

Yes, if you choose not to utilise our reception space you are more than welcome to organise a marquee to be set up for your wedding or event.

Are there bathrooms available?

We don’t have fixed bathrooms at our venue. For all weddings we hire luxury portable bathrooms which is included in our packages.


Do you offer coordination services?

Yes we do. All our packages include your own coordinator who will be there to assist you with your planning and be there on your big day to oversee everything runs smoothly.

Can we throw confetti?

Yes. We request only natural biodegradable items such as flowers petals, confetti or bubbles.



Are you a BYO venue for drinks?

Yes we are! You are more than welcome to organise your own drinks for your wedding or event. We do provide RSA trained staff, glassware and all equipment for service within our packages.

How many guests can you hold for weddings or events?

Our venue can comfortable seat or stand a maximum of 120 guests.



Can you provide catering?

No, we do not provide catering. Although we can recommend you some wonderful caterers to get in touch with to cater your event.

Is it possible to bring catering equipment in?

There is no onsite catering equipment provided. This will need to be externally sourced and brought in to our venue.

We do have access to main power for caterers.


Do you have any curfews?

Yes, keeping our neighbours in mind we do ask that all events conclude at 10.30pm and guests depart the venue by 11pm.

Is there a time in the evening where guests must depart the property?

Guests not staying at The Ridge Estate accommodation will need to depart before 11:00pm.

Parking & Transport

Is there parking available?

Yes, we have a carpark which comfortably holds around 50 cars, as well as grass area for any extra cars that may not fit in the car park.

Do taxis or Uber come to the area?

As a general rule we don’t like to encourage guests to rely on these transport options due to our location.

Can buses come in to the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of room for buses to come in to our venue. There are companies that offer busses from small groups to full size coaches, please chat to us about this and we can point you in the right direction of the best companies to talk to.


Is the accommodation on site?

Yes. We have a large 5 bedroom homestead that can comfortably sleep maximum of 10 guests.

Is there accommodation near the venue?

There are some local Airbnbs within the area. Alternatively we would recommend Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Kooindah Waters or Magenta Shores that can accommodate large bookings.
